
About Richard

Richard Alvarez has been a Licensed California Real Estate Broker since 1992 and has worked with numerous clients in buying, selling, managing and leasing properties. With more than 30 years of experience in the real estate field, he is especially adept in the areas of financial accounting, site analysis, purchase negotiation, new construction/tenant improvements, contamination mitigation, tenant/landlord management responsibilities, estate planning and loan procurement. He also constructed a multi-tenant industrial facility, where he designed it, assisted through the City, and acted as contractor to build the complete property from the ground up.
Richard has experience dealing with numerous cities and government agencies including Temecula, Ontario, Vista, San Marcos, Anaheim, etc. as well as the Immigration and
Naturalization Service (INS), the Regional Water Quality Control Board, the South Coast Air Quality Control District, and Homeland Security.
Richard has lived with his family in Vista, since 1998 and at the same home since July of 1999. He has a wonderful wife Linda Lopez-Alvarez and a daughter working in reality television in Los Angeles. He and his wife have also been involved in the community where they started and ran a non-profit Competitive Soccer Club, North San Diego Stallions for over 7 years that assisted with lower income players.
Richard has served as the treasurer of the Vista Village Business Association, that put on events in Vista, including the Strawberry Festival. Richard is a proud graduate of the University of Southern California in 1989, with a Bachelor of Sciencedegree in Finance and Real Estate.
